Regis Men's Soccer Picked to Finish Fifth in RMAC Preseason Poll

Colorado Springs, Colo.: The Rangers were picked to finish fifth in the RMAC Preseason Poll the conference announced Tuesday. Along with the team being chosen fifth, juniors Gary Cole and Nathan Kafer were placed on the Preseason All-RMAC Team.

Chosen to finish first by the leagues head coaches was Fort Lewis College who finished first in the RMAC last season and earned a bid to the NCAA Division II Tournament. Metro State was picked to finish second in front of Colorado Mines and CSU-Pueblo who were picked third and fourth respectively. Behind Regis in the poll was Mesa State in sixth, UCCS in seventh, and Colorado Christian in eighth.

Tabbed as the Preseason Player of the Year was Steven Emory a junior from Metro State while Zane Wells, a senior from Fort Lewis, was named RMAC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.
