Copleand's Two Goals Lead Rangers to Victory Over Mountain Lions

Colorado Springs, Colo.: Sterling Copeland scored two goals to help lead the Rangers to a 2-0 victory over the UCCS Mountain Lions Friday in Colorado Springs.

Copleand scored his first goal of the game at the 19:37 mark when a turnover led into a breakaway and Kafer served the ball to Copeland for the shot. With just over 12 minutes left in the first half Copeland struck again to widen Regis' lead to two. A cross being served in was deflected off of a UCCS defender and into the feet of Copeland for the shot.

Neither team scored in the second half ending the game at 2-0 in favor of Regis.

The Rangers will face Metro State on Sun., Oct. 12 in Denver. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m.
