Regis Men's Soccer Falls for Second Time in Lone Star State
San Antonio, Texas: The Regis men's soccer team fell for the second straight game in the Lone Star state this time to St. Edward's, 4-1. St. Edward's scored the first two goals and didn't look back from there. Two goals by Kevin Klaus for St. Edward's within a three-minute span put the Rangers in the hole before freshman forward Kyle Reddy scored at the 30 minute mark. St. Edward's scored two more goals in the second half to drop the Rangers to 0-2 on the young season.
The Rangers were out shot by the Hilltoppers by a margin of 21-4. Sophomore Eric Lamar started in goal for the Rangers allowing four goals and adding five saves. The Rangers will have a weekend of before going back on the road to start conference play at Colorado Mines on Friday, Sept. 12th and at Colorado Christian on Sunday, Sept. 14th.
