Rangers Fall to Mesa 2-0 in Away Game

Grand Junction, Colo.: Unable to score against the Mesa State Mavericks the Rangers fall in second to last game of the season 2-0 Friday in Grand Junction.

After 29 minutes and 30 seconds of scoreless play Mavericks' Sam Dixson was assisted by Eric Anderson to give Mesa a 1-0 lead. The lead was kept through the first half and up until the 84:53 mark when Mesa scored again on a goal from Andy Cornia. He was assisted by Reese Kegans on the play.

Neither team scored again leaving the final score at 2-0 in favor of Mesa State.

The Rangers will play agin on Sunday in Durango when they face the Fort Lewis Skyhawks. Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m.
