Rangers Fall in Last Regular Season Game 5-0 to Fort Lewis
Durango, Colo.: The Rangers fell 5-0 to the Fort Lewis Skyhawks in their last regular season game Sunday afternoon in Durango.
Paul Sanchez scored the Skyhawks first two goals at the 4:57 mark and the 8:13 mark. He was assisted on his first goal by Sam Morris and by Tom Settle on his second. James Gershfield scored Fort Lewis' third goal when he was assisted by Keane Hamilton just 41 seconds before the closing of the first half.
Joseph Brandt assisted David Barden at the 62:25 mark to increase the Skyhawks lead to four. Byron Cephers scored Fort Lewis' last goal when he was assisted by Paul Sanchez at the 67:40 mark.
Neither team scored again leaving the final score at 5-0 in favor of Fort Lewis.
This game marks the end of the season for the Rangers with an overall record of 8-8-2.
