Colorado Springs, Colo.: The 2011-12 Regis men's golf team was voted to finish eighth in the 10-team Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in the preseason coaches poll.  CSU-Pueblo who finished third last season was selected to finish first.

The Rangers returned to NCAA Tournament action in 2010-11 and finished ninth in the RMAC.  Regis lost three of their top five golfers from last season but will look towards seniors Robert Quick and Ben Davis to lead the team to another NCAA Tournament.

First Team All-RMAC performer Jim Knous of Colorado Mines was selected as RMAC Preseason Golfer of the Year by the 10 conference coaches.

The Rangers begin their fall season September 6th and 7th at the Adams State Invite in Alamosa, Colo.
