Regis Men's Golf Fall Short in Colorado Mines Triangular
Firestone, Colo.: Alongside Colorado Mines and CSU-Pueblo the Regis Rangers competed in the Colorado Mines Triangular at the Saddleback Golf Club in Firestone, Colo. (par 72-7090). CSU-Pueblo took the team title with an 18-hole score of 298 followed closely by Colorado Mines (303) and Regis (305).
Junior Zach Johnson finished in a tie for third carding a 75, just two strokes behind individual medalist Sean Thomas of CSU-Pueblo and his 1-over 73. Sophomore Ben Davis also carded a 75 to finish in a tie for third.
Junior Alex Roberts and sophomore Taylor Hulbert, golfing individually, each finished one shot behind Davis and Johnson with a 76, good for a tie for eighth place.

Regis will next participate in the Bob Writz invitational hosted by Colorado Mines on April 10th. The one-day event will take place at Plum Creek Country Club in Castle Rock, Colo.
