Rangers Finish Third at Bob Writz Invitational; Zach Johnson Ties for Fifth

Castle Rock, Colo.: The Regis men's golf team finished third overall in the Bob Writz Invitational on April 10th at the Plum Creek Country Club. Leading the Rangers was Zach Johnson who tied for fifth followed by Greg Johnson who finished eighth.

Finishing first in the tournament was CSU-Pueblo (606) followed by Colorado Christian (621) in second. The Rangers shot one stroke shy of Christian with a 622 followed by Nebraska Kearney (626), Mesa State (627), Colorado School of Mines (633), Panhandle State (655), and Adams State (684).

For Regis, Zach shot a 151 while Greg combined for a 153. Alex Roberts finished third for the Rangers, tied for 11th overall, with a 156, Robert Quick tied for 24th (162), and Ben Davis shot a 171 to place 35th.

Up next, Regis will compete in the Air Force Falcon Invite on April 12th and 13th.
