Zach Johnson and Robert Quick Named Second Team Academic All-RMAC
Colorado Springs, Colo.: Junior Zach Johnson and sophomore Robert Quick were recently named to the RMAC Men's Golf Second Team All-Academic for the 2009-10 season.
Johnson, from Arvada, Colo., has a 3.41 grade point average in business following the fall semester. Johnson competed in 20 events for the Rangers and averaged 77.9 strokes per 18, third best on the team. Twice he cracked the top five and shot a low round of 72 at the Bob Writz Invitational. His 36-hole low round of 151 also at the Bob Writz Invitational tied for the Ranger season low with Robert Quick.
Quick has a 3.53 GPA and is undecided on a major. The native of Littleton, Colo., Quick was second on the team with a 77.4 scoring average in 10 events. His 18-hole low of 72 came at the RMAC Spring Championships while his 36-hole low of 151 occurred at the Regis/Mines Fall Invite. He had one round below par and his 225 54-hole total was third lowest for the Rangers.
