Ranger Men's Golf Qualifies for West/Central Regional Tournament
Denver, Colo.: The Regis Ranger men's golf team qualified for the NCAA Division II tournament once again. Regis finished in ninth place in the Central Region and the top 10 teams from each region are invited to the tournament.
Regis and the rest of the Central Region will also be joined by 10 schools from the West Region at the West/Central Regional Tournament to be held in Lincoln, Neb. May 4-6. The teams will play on the pristine Wilderness Ridge Golf Club in Lincoln.
The top five teams and the top two individuals, not with a team,
from each regional (regardless of region) will advance to the
finals May 19-22 at Loomis Trail Golf Club in Blaine,
Washington.
The Rangers are coming off the RMAC Championships in which they finished fourth overall but third amongst other RMAC schools. Individually sophomore Greg Johnson tied for the RMAC Championship.
