Ranger Men Stumble in First Round of RMAC #3; Shoot 318 and are in a Tie for Sixth

Colorado Springs, Colo.: The Ranger men's golf team stumbled a bit in the first round of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Event #3 shooting a 318 at the famed Broadmoor East Course (72, 7344).  Host UC-Colorado Springs leads the two-round tournament with an aggregate 294.

Freshman Robert Quick led the Rangers with a five-over 77 tying for 15th.  Junior Josh Wagner carded a 78 (+6) to tie for 20th.  Sophomore Greg Johnson shot an 81 (+9) tying for 33rd, while freshman Kyle Seery shot a 10-over 82 on the same course that hosted the 2008 U.S. Senior Open.

Freshman Taylor Hulbert finished up the scoring for Regis carding an 88 (+16) good for 51st.

The tournament was initially supposed to be three rounds, but because of the snow that Colorado Springs received last weekend, will actually just be two rounds.
