Regis University to Host Old-Fashioned Pep Rally November 1st

Denver, Colo.: The Regis University athletic department is hosting a good old-fashioned "pep rally" for the Ranger fall and winter athletic teams November 1st at 8:00 p.m. in the Regis Fieldhouse.  Free food will be available beginning at 7:30 p.m. which will be followed by giveaways, including a free raffle for an IPod Nano and the chance to compete against Regis student-athletes.

Regis public address announcer Daymon Johnson will emcee the event that will include introductions of all the fall and winter sports.  The "pep rally" will help send the fall teams to their respective postseason competitions and also usher in the men's and women's basketball team's seasons.

Men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball have all been ranked in the top 25 at some point in the season, with the men's soccer team currently ranked #9 in the nation.  Men's and women's cross country will also be honored and currently the Ranger women's cross country team is ranked sixth in the central region.
