Regis Men's Basketball Head Coach Lonnie Porter adds Six to Roster for 2010-11 Season
Longtime Regis Men's Head Basketball Coach Lonnie Porter today announces the signing of six new players to the roster for the upcoming 2010-11 season. Slobodan Jovanovic, Lance Korell, Urald King, Ben Perry, Brandon Maclellan, and Tyler Putz will all be a part of the men's basketball team next year.

Associate Athletic Director Ann Martin Tabbed as Next Regis Athletic Director
Regis University President Fr. Michael Sheeran, S.J. announced the hiring of Ann Martin as the next director of athletics. Martin replaces longtime Regis Athletic Director Barbara Schroeder who will be retiring in June. Martin has been on the Regis athletic administration staff since 2005.

Senior guard Matt Rosinski was named First Team All-RMAC East Division as voted on by the 14 RMAC men's basketball head coaches. The second leading scorer in the RMAC this season, Rosinski follows up his second team accolades from last season.

Regis Men's Basketball Ends Season with Tough 73-70 Loss to UC-Colorado Springs
A career-high 26 points by Brent Jones propelled UC-Colorado Springs to a 73-70 victory over Regis. Regis trailed 28-20 with 8:34 remaining and then went on a 10-2 run capped off by a three pointer by Matt Rosinski who led regis with 28 points.

Regis Digs First Half Hole and Can't Recover Falling to Metro State 85-71
The Regis men's basketball team were forced into 20 turnovers and dropped their final road game of the season 85-71 to crosstown rival Metro State. The Rangers shot 63.3 percent from the field in the second half but it wasn't enough as Metro State led at halftime 50-23.

The Ranger defense forced Nebraska-Kearney into 18 turnovers and limited the top two scorers to 12 points below their combined season average in an 84-63 victory. Regis snapped their five-game skid and revenge an earlier 66-59 loss to the Lopers.

Rangers Postseason Hopes Vanish with 80-48 Loss to Colorado Christian; Rosinski Scores 1,000th Career Point
With tonight's 80-48 loss to Colorado Christian, the Regis University men's basketball team finds itself mathematically eliminated from RMAC postseason contention. It is the second straight season that the Rangers have not made the RMAC Shootout. Regis senior guard Matt Rosinski became the ninth player in Regis history to eclipse 1,000 points finishing the eventing with 21 points and now has exactly 1,000 career points in just under two seasons.

The Regis Ranger men's basketball team snapped a seven-game losing streak by turning over Colorado Christian 27 times in an 80-71 RMAC victory. Senior guard Matt Rosinski scored 28 of his game-high 33 points in the second half as Regis took a nine-point deficit and outscored Colorado Christian 49-31 in the second half.

Two Late Free Throws Puts Game into Overtime Where Regis Falls 71-68 to Upper Iowa
Regis played Upper Iowa tonight for the first time in school history and came out on the short end of a 71-68 overtime score. After sophomore Myron Sanders sank two free throws to tie the score at 66 with 35 seconds remaining in regulation, Upper Iowa outscored Regis 5-2 to drop the Rangers to 4-4.
