Gino Carbajal begins his third season as an assistant coach for the Regis University baseball team in 2013. Coach Carbajal brings over 15 years of baseball coaching experience and most recently was the head coach at Faith Christian High School in Arvada, Colo.  In his four seasons at the helm he had a 104-21, an 83.2 winning percentage.

He guided FCHS to the 2007 Colorado Class 3A Championship and led the Eagles to four league championships, five regional championships and four trips to the final four of the state tournament.

He was named the Metro League Coach of the Year in 2006, 2007 and 2010 and was named the Denver Post Class 3A Coach of the year both in 2006 and 2007.

Carbajal started his baseball coaching career in 1995 where he was a little league coach for the Arvada Junior Baseball Corporation. He began at Faith Christian as the junior varsity coach in 2001 and continued through the 2005 season and began as the head coach in 2006.

Carbajal and his wife Denise have four sons, one of which, Mariano, is a freshman on the Ranger baseball team.  Carbajal is also the owner of Mile Hi Painting, LLC, a company he has owned since 1987.
