Harms Earns All-Region Honors; Hastings and Eustice Named to Gold Glove Team

Denver, Colo.: Junior right-hander Aaron Harms was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association Second Team All-Central Region team.  Teammates Cody Hastings and Ryan Eustice were tabbed to first team and second team Gold Glove respectively.

Harms, is a perfect 7-0 in seven starts and 8-1 overall with a team-leading 2.37 ERA.  He has two complete games with both being shutouts.  His last two games he has an 18-inning scoreless streak and allowed just eight hits, while striking out 19.

The ABCA also honored their Central Region Gold Glove Teams with Hastings earning first team and Eustice earning second.

Hastings, the Rangers everyday shortstop, has a .959 fielding percentage.  He is just one of the three RMAC athletes on the nine-team Gold Glove team.  He has 169 assists on the season which is second most in one season at Regis.  He has been a part of a team-high 28 double plays turned and not only plays well in the field but hits at a .305 average.

Eustice has gone from a shortstop to a second baseman to patroling centerfield for Regis.  He has a .987 fielding percentage with just one error in 77 total chances.  He has five outfield assists while ranking second on the team with five homeruns.

The Rangers start NCAA regional action on Thursday night as they take on Minnesota State, Mankato at 7:00 p.m. (CT).
