COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.: Junior right-hander Kyle Mack was named RMAC Pitcher of the Week this week for his performance on the bump last week in the games at Colorado School of Mines.
The 6-5 Castle Rock, Colorado native set a career high in strikeouts with eight, while posting his first career shutout in the Rangers 19-0 win over Mines. He allowed four hits and gave up only one extra base hit during the Rangers 3-for-4 performance with the Orediggers over the weekend.
The Rangers brought their overall record to 16-16 and their RMAC record to 11-13, placing them at 2nd in the Plains Division.
The Ranger men will take on CSU-Pueblo Friday, April 13th through Sunday, April 15th in Denver, Colo. at the Regis baseball field for their next RMAC competition.
