• Spent one season at New Mexico Junior College in Hobbs, N.M.
• Hit .317 with 20 hits in 63 at bats

Cheyenne Central High School:

• A 2008 graduate of Cheyenne Central High School in Cheyenne, Wyo.
• Hit .419 with 25 doubles and 89 RBI in his career
• Named to All-State team two years
• Led American Legion team Cheyenne Post 6 to four consecutive state championships
• Also lettered three times in basketball and twice in track
