- Earned his first collegiate victory in 19-10 victory over Nebraska Kearney where he went six innings scattering six hits and allowing four earned runs, striking out three on May 2nd
- Six days later against New Mexico Highlands struck out a career-high four batters

- Went 1-for-1 against New Mexico Highlands on Feb. 10th with one double and one run scored

- A first team all-league and all-state selection
- Voted one of the top 50 seniors
- Earned the Branch Rickey High School Humanitarian award
