• Started 12 games for the Rangers finishing with a 6-4 record
• Had 42 strikeouts and pitched a team-high 66 innings
• Also had 55 at bats while starting 15 games
• Hit .382 with 21 hits and 13 RBI
• Earned his first victory of the season throwing six innings allowing just two earned runs in a 19-4 win over Hastings College on February 24th
• Went 3-for-5 slapping two doubles driving in three runs while scoring three times

Central Arizona College:

• Played one year at Central Arizona College in Coolidge, Ariz.
• Had a 2-0 record in 2007
• Struck out 16 batters in just 14 innings

Manitou Springs High School:

• A 2006 graduate of Manitou Springs High School
• Was selected in the 39th round of the 2006 Major League Baseball draft by the Philadelphia Phillies
• Posted a .761 batting average while connecting on 10 home runs
• Named the 3A State Player of the Year
• A first team all-state and all-conference selection
• Named the Tri-Peaks League MVP
