Regis University Athletics Announce Athletic Director's Honor Roll; Department GPA 3.449

Denver, Colo.: The spring 2011 grades have been published and the over 200 student-athletes performed mightily during the spring semester.

16 student-athletes earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average and were named to the Athletic Director Honor Roll, while another 53 were named to the Assistant Athletic Director Honor Roll with a GPA between 3.75 and 3.99.  31 percent of the 221 student-athletes earned a 3.75 GPA or higher during the spring semester.

The 12 teams combined for a 3.449 grade point average during the 2011 spring semester led by the women's cross country team with a 3.691 GPA and on the men's side the soccer team leading the way with a 3.418 GPA.  The student-athletes finished 2011 with a 3.357 cumulative GPA in all the semesters.  The 3.449 spring semester GPA is well above the Regis College student-body GPA of 3.187.
