Regis University Hires Father John P. Fitzgibbons, S.J. as the University's 24th President

Denver, Colo.:  The Regis University Board of Trustees announced Father John P. Fitzgibbons, S.J., as the 24th president of Regis University. He will take office June 1, 2012. Dick Kelly, chair of the Regis University Board of Trustees, made the announcement.

Father Fitzgibbons will succeed Father Michael J. Sheeran, S.J., the current Regis University president who will move to Washington, D.C. upon retirement to work in one of the Jesuit offices.
