Tiemeyer announced that Ben Sabados, Kyle Reddy, James Martinez, Kyle Emge, and Patrick Freeman have signed their National Letter of Intent to attend Regis, while Gary Cole will be transferring from the University of Vermont. Ben Sabados, a goalkeeper from Broomfield, Colo., helped lead his time to a 57-2-1 record during his career including two state championships. Broomfield completed the 2007 season with a perfect 20-0 record with a 1-0 overtime victory over Mullen in the Colorado 4A State Championship game. In 2007, he made 85 saves and was named the Boulder Daily Camera Player of the Year. He was also named all-conference, all-western region and Denver Post Class 4A All-State Honorable Mention. Read More Trevor Steege 1/15/08 Senior Trevor Steege Earns NSCAA Scholar All-Far West Region Honors Denver, Colo.: Regis University men's soccer player Trevor Steege was named to the 2007 NSCAA/Adidas Scholar All-Far West Region Team. The senior goalkeeper from Longmont, Colo. was one of 12 players to earn the honor and the only goalkeeper. Steege, who has a 3.39 GPA in sociology and economics, was named First Team All-Academic by the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC).
