2011-12 will be Kristin Wimp's sixth year as an Assistant Director of Sports Medicine at Regis University.

Prior to her arrival at Regis, Wimp worked in the University of Puget Sound athletic training room from 2003-05.

A 1999 graduate of Fort Lewis College, Wimp worked as an undergraduate in the Skyhawk athletic training room for five years (1994-99). Wimp went on to earn her Master's Degree from Gonzaga University in 2003. While at Gonzaga, Wimp spent two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the Bulldogs (2001-03).

Wimp's experience also includes time with the Ignacio (Colorado) High School football team in the fall of 2000.

A native of Durango, Colorado, Wimp played two years of varsity girl's basketball at Durango High School (1994 graduate).

Wimp currently makes her home in Arvada.
