Cole Fricke is in his first season as graduate assistant in the sports medicine department.  He will be in charge of men's soccer and women's lacrosse.  He graduated in May 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in athletic training from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

He comes to Regis having worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer in an internship at University of Minnesota-Duluth in Duluth, Minn.  His responsibitlites included women's soccer, softball, and indoor track and field.  He also worked as a Summer Sport Camp Athletic trainer at UMD where provided direct coverage as a first responder for youth summer sports camps including men's and women's basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, and men's and women's hockey.

Athletic Training Student Intern at Augustan College.  At Augustana, he covered women's soccer and men's basketball.  He provided practice and game care and ovserved and assesed acute and chronic injuries while he helped to coordinat treatment options.  He also participated as the summer sport camp first responder at Elmen Center at Augustana College.  He covered camps including wrestling, men's and women's basketball, volleyball, and soccer.  

During his stay at Augustana, he received the opportunity to serve as the first responder for both the Mid-America Youth Basketball Tournament and the prestigious Mr. Basketball and Miss Basketball Dakota Showcase.

He also received the Dr. Jeffrey J. Behrens Student Athletic Training Scholoarship at Augustana College in recognition of commitment and dedication to the teams served, and for excellence in promoting the care and ideals of Dr. Jeff Behrens as an athletic training student.

He has been certified in BOC since 2009 and a NATA member since 2009.  He is also certified in First Aid/CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.  

Lastly, he is a self-proclaimed die-hard Minnesota Twins and Vikings fan and an avid slow-pitch softball player.
